I am a writer, editor, and designer. I graduated from Michigan State University with degrees in professional writing and English, where my experiences helped me become a powerful communicator in a variety of mediums such as writing, web development, and visual design.

I can wear many hats. I am just as excited about writing speeches or web copy as I am about designing the architecture for a new organization or managing a publication. Some of my favorite projects involve grappling with questions and problems that do not have simple answers. I love new projects, new ideas, new connections, new people, and I am not afraid to begin with a blank slate. In fact, some of my best work happens when I have the freedom to experiment.

In addition to being an excellent content strategist and creative problem solver, I am also a quick, curious, and enthusiastic learner. I am deeply passionate about learning in formal and informal settings, and I love working for organizations whose missions are education-focused.
